I don't understand why I have to lose an amazing person, a person who I consider one of my best friends, a person who has opened my eyes to the world and reminded me that I could feel, to gain a different amazing person, one I care for so deeply it's difficult to put into words, and could potentially have a future with.
Why the FUCK does it have to be like that? It's so unfair.
And it hurts. A lot.
So until Viddler's settings will actually WORK and let me add my Vox blog to automatically post my new videos, I'm just gonna have to do it manually...

If you could travel back in time, which era would you visit and why?
The 1920's. The Jazz Age. Prohibition. Expression. Prosperity. Being young and ruling the world. Shorter hair, shorter skirts, newer films and newer cars. Arguably one of the most defining decades of the century.
I've always been a fan of jazz music. My dad has been a jazz man all his life, learning to play the saxophone at the age of 8 and blowin' that horn ever since. I grew up listening to Duke Ellington. Loving the rhythmic sensation that come along with jazz music.
I remember doing a report on the 1920's in 3rd grade. A "teach the class" sort of thing, where a different group would teach a different decade. Granted, this was third grade, but I remember completely falling in love with the image and the idea of the 1920's.
When the film Chicago came out, I couldn't get enough of it. I saw it countless amounts of times in the theaters, bought the soundtrack the day it became available, and had it on constant rotation in my room.
Silent films are a favorite of mine as well. From Charlie Chaplin, To Louise Brooks, and
Margaret Livingston, some of the best and most influential actress ever came from the 1920s. Most would agree that Chaplin was the forefather of slapstick, one of the pioneers of comedy. And he did almost all of it without even speaking! An actor who can make one laugh without a drop of dialogue, in my book, makes the top of the list. Louise Brooks was able to go from a small town Kansas girl to a silent film star, creating one of the best female role of all time, Nancy (The Girl) in the last of the silent dramas and first of the talkies(as it contained both), Beggars of Life. Not to mention her infamous bob haircut which started the trend of short bobbed hair for women. Margaret Livingston, the 'woman of the city', made 62 films from 1920 to 1929, and continued on into the 1930's. She even did dubbing work for some of the first talkies.Livingston was considered The Vamp of the silent era, And starred in The Sunrise, which earned three Oscars.
And that, my dear friends, is why I am OBSESSED with the 1920's, and if I could got back in time, those jazz filled years would be the ones I'd visit.

QotD: How old were you when you had your first "official" boyfriend or girlfriend? What was he/she like?
I find this question HIGHLY ironic, considering I spoke with this person yesterday for the first time in months. Now, this is a regular post... no snazzy photos or cool videos to accompany this one, my friends.
My first "official" boyfriend: My junior year of High School. His name was Eric. We met through a mutual friend at one of his swimming competitions... yeah, he was a Jock. I know, right? Me, the dorky theater obsessed girl with glasses dating a GORGEOUS (and oh, he was gorgeous) Jock from a different school. Looking back on it, I'm surprised it even happened. We only dated for a month or so, but it was my first real relationship. He was the only boy at my surprise 16th birthday party, he bought me flowers for my shows, and I would go to swim meets, practices, what have you, just to see him. The first guy I ever went farther than kissing with, the first guy to ever take me out on a date... there were a lot of firsts' with this kid. Including the first guy to ever dump me. Don't get me wrong, I tried to dump him first, because at the time he and I were going through a mini war of not calling each other back and getting other people on the phone to talk with the person... very juvenile, but then again, this was high school.
Even though our actual relationship ended, every 6 months or so we randomly run into each other, and there's always a few weeks of hanging out and seeing if a second chance is in the future. One time in particular, we hung out, ended up making out, and made plans to start seeing each other more often.
Too bad he had a girlfriend.
And there began The Slutty Mistress title.
That's right. Yesterday I drove up to good ole' Los Angeles to do a test shoot with Gen Z Clothing, an online clothing company. I was there for about an hour, and only shot for 25 minutes... and I made 50 bucks! Woot! And guess what? The pictures are already on the website!!
